Bigger Shower, Better Style: A Bathroom Reimagined
The journey to the finished bathroom started with a survey visit from our director Tony to meet with the customers and discuss what needs to be done to meet the needs of the homeowners. Once the details were drawn up into a quotation, the Herts Bathrooms team organised for an appointment for the clients to visit the showroom and select the goods for their room, drawing up a detailed design and plan for the engineer to follow. A start date was agreed and a second survey organised to double check the items would fit into the room.
The bathroom was installed by Charlie and Sean and involved a complete removal of the previous fixtures and fittings, alterations to the boxing in and also a re build of stud wall to accommodate a large size shower tray.
Our fantastic tiler Mark fully tiled the walls in the shower enclosure and half tiled the remainder of the room in Bissalado white tiles brick bond. The floor was also tiled in Clarice matt white and matt black tiles in a checkerboard design which provides a nice feature in this small space.
The customer chose a new Flair tray and Flair Verve bifold door which was bigger in size than their previous shower, adaptations were made to accommodate this. The room was finished off with a host of accessories including a Sonas Stockholm wall hung unit in morning sky blue and a Tissino Terzo round mirror with electrics.
