Our Apprentices

Harry Barnes
I started my apprenticeship at Gas Mark 1 in September 2025. My primary focus is on learning plumbing. I have attended some careers events at local schools to represent the company and recruit the next phase of apprentices.

Charlie Daniels
I started working for Gas Mark 1 in 2021 alongside attending college for the property management course. This covered plumbing, electrics, plastering, tiling and more. I am currently taking a break from studies to concentrate on learning on the job with the Gas Mark 1 engineers.

Scott Daniels
I started my apprenticeship at Gas Mark 1 in September 2025. After the year in the company I have decided to persue my gas qualifications and will continue to attend college and develop my skills.

Henry Davies
While working as an apprentice at Gas Mark 1 I am currently studing for my level 3 plumbing and heating part time at West Herts College. I enjoy fitting bathrooms, but haven’t moved fully onto the gas phase of my learning yet, so I am looking forward to expanding my skills.

Finley Duggan
I am currently completing an apprenticeship within the company to become a qualified plumber. My role is to learn and gain further knowledge form the engineers at Gas Mark 1. I have complete my level 2 diploma in plumbing and am currently studying property maintenance 1 day a week at college.

Niam Parekh
I started my apprenticeship at Gas Mark 1 in September 2025.

Scott Vigor
I joined the apprenticeship scheme at Gas Mark 1 in 2021. I study at West Herts on day release, working with the engineers the rest of the week on various projects, bathrooms, kitchens and heating or plumbing work. I have achieved my level 3 diploma and am officially a Gas Safe registered engineer.

Oscar Meech
In summer 2026 I joined the apprenticeship scheme at Gas Mark.

Hadley Smith
I joined the apprenticeship scheme at Gas Mark 1 in summer 2026.

Jake Billingham
I joined the apprenticeship scheme at Gas Mark 1 in summer 2026 after a short trial with the company.
