Gunmetal Harmony: A Stylish Bathroom Transformation

One of the biggest advantages of choosing products through Herts Bathrooms is the freedom to mix and match from a wide selection of premium suppliers. This flexibility ensures homeowners never have to compromise on style—so long as the space allows, the design possibilities are endless. For this Watford homeowner, that meant curating a beautiful scheme tied together with a striking gunmetal accent that runs throughout the room.

Producing a cohesive look through thoughtful product choices this customer combined products from several high-quality brands to create a bathroom that feels sophisticated, modern and full of character. At the centre of the design is the GSI Pura ribbed drawer unit in matt black, paired with its matching tall storage unit. These were finished with a Deuco solid mineral stone worktop, topped with an elegant R2 Kanto rectangular basin.

To carry the gunmetal theme consistently across the space, the customer selected the House of Piccadilly Vienna freestanding bath mixer and matching basin tap, complemented by the Percy towel rail, all in the same luxurious finish. Above the basin, the Emporio Galaxy illuminated mirror—featuring integrated lighting and a demister—adds soft ambience and everyday practicality.

The shower area was built around a sleek Crossland shower tray, paired with a Merlyn glass shower panel in gunmetal. The pairing adds structure and crisp definition, reinforcing the room’s subtly industrial yet refined feel. Introducing textures and tones that elevate the space, bringing warmth and depth, the flooring was upgraded to Karndean Smoked Concrete luxury vinyl, installed by MP Flooring. This complements the wall finish: a stylish combination of Travertine Silver décor tiles paired with plain tiles to create a balanced, high-end look.

Gas Mark 1 engineer Kyle led the installation, ensuring every element of the bathroom was fitted to the highest standard. The tiling was completed by Grant, whose work brought the Travertine scheme to life with precision and care. The result is a space where textures, finishes and colours blend effortlessly.

Thanks to the ability to choose freely from multiple suppliers, this project delivers a bathroom that is completely tailored to the homeowner’s taste. Gunmetal accents unify the scheme, while modern materials and expert installation complete a room that feels sophisticated, cohesive and truly unique.
